Add money to your new account at your nearby First Federal branch

Take inventory of any recurring payments and redirect them to your new account. Make sure any pending checks have cleared.

Step 4

Once you’ve completed the transferring payments and deposit process, withdraw the money in your old account, and instruct your former bank to close the account. Cut up or shred any debit cards or checks associated with your former banking institution.
